In big city like Jakarta, most of the house is located in small alley that usually only has access for one car, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrians. Diantara house is one of our exercises to create problem solving design. We hope that Diantara house’s design can work as an example for those who have rent houses in small alley, couples with no child, salaryman who lives alone, maybe students who want it bigger than a studio room, cyclist and those who prefer commute with public transportation.

Diantara house is a loft type tiny house, with one bedroom and balcony on the second level. As Diantara is made to be located in an alley, the roofless facade is good to let natural lighting in. And also minimizing the damage to alley’s road because of water dripping from the roof and make the alley brighter and have better air circulation

In big city like Jakarta, we often see many people live in small houses forced to bring their motorcycle into their house for safety, but in Diantara we provide small garage for them so it wont disturb activities inside and jeoperdize resident’s health.
